Tour Overview
The tour starts with a pickup from your accommodation to head south of Cusco for approximately 2 hours to the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy an Andean breakfast. Then we continue the journey to the starting point of the hike.
The hike to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. During the tour, you can appreciate high Andean fauna such as llamas and alpacas.
Upon reaching the viewpoint (approx. 5,200 m.a.s.l.), we will have time for photos and the guide's explanation about the geological formation of the mountain. Afterwards, we return along the same path to the transport to head back to Cusipata and enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we return to Cusco.
